Tata Curvv Gains a New Shade: Nitro Crimson, Expanding to 7 Colours

Share

Tata Motors is expanding its popular compact SUV, the Tata Curvv, with a fresh new colour—Nitro Crimson. Known for combining the styling cues of Tata’s flagship Harrier and Safari in a smaller, more agile package, the Curvv has been turning heads since its launch. With the introduction of this new shade, Tata aims to add more excitement to its lineup and attract even more buyers.

Meet the New Nitro Crimson

The Tata Curvv was previously available in six shades—Gold Essence, Flame Red, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, and Opera Blue. Tata had previously hinted at a Dark Edition with all-black aesthetics, but that has yet to hit showrooms. Instead, the company has introduced Nitro Crimson, a more understated and deeper red than the bold Flame Red.

This new shade is offered from the Creative trim level and above, catering to buyers who want a red tone without the brightness of Flame Red. Nitro Crimson strikes a balance between boldness and elegance, enhancing the sporty yet sophisticated look of the Curvv.

Design and Styling Updates

While the new Nitro Crimson colour is the headline update, the rest of the Curvv’s sleek design remains unchanged. The SUV still boasts a coupe-inspired sloping roofline, flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, a powered tailgate, and Tata’s signature LED lighting elements. Its connected LED tail lights and Harrier-inspired front end with slim LED headlights add a touch of futuristic flair.

Interior Highlights

Inside, the Curvv continues to offer a premium experience. It comes with a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, complete with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A fully digital instrument cluster with integrated maps, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a 9-speaker JBL audio system add to the luxury feel. For added convenience, the Curvv also features automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof.

Engine and Powertrain Options

The Tata Curvv is available with three engine options—a 1.2L Turbo Petrol, a 1.2L Turbo Petrol GDI, and a 1.5L Turbo Diesel. Buyers can choose between multiple transmission options, including a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA).

Tata has been promoting the Curvv’s strength and durability through a series of bold marketing campaigns, including a demonstration where the SUV towed a 48,000-kg Boeing 737 aircraft—a testament to its robust build and performance.
