Honda has reintroduced its popular CB200X under a new name—the NX200—at a price of ₹1.68 lakh (ex-showroom). While the change may be largely in the name, this model comes with new features and upgraded emissions compliance to align with current regulations.
Power and Performance
The NX200 retains the same 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the outgoing CB200X. Now OBD2B-compliant, it delivers 17hp and 15.7Nm of torque, a slight decrease in torque compared to its predecessor. A 5-speed gearbox, paired with a slip and assist clutch, ensures smooth shifts and manageable performance in city and highway conditions.

New Tech Additions
A significant upgrade is the introduction of a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity—a feature borrowed from the Honda Activa’s recent update. This display provides essential ride data and notifications, giving riders a more modern experience. The NX200 also gains a traction control system, enhancing safety and rider confidence in slippery conditions.
Design and Lighting
Honda has kept the NX200’s overall design true to the CB200X’s adventure-touring roots. It retains the full-LED lighting setup, which includes sleek headlights, indicators, and taillights that provide excellent visibility. Despite the name change, the visual aesthetics remain largely the same, appealing to riders who loved the CB200X’s rugged style.

Colors and Pricing
The NX200 is available in three colors—red, blue, and black. With a price tag of ₹1.68 lakh, it costs ₹17,000 more than the outgoing CB200X. However, the added features and compliance with the latest norms may make this price hike worthwhile for riders seeking a modern, mid-sized adventure bike.
