In a welcome move for motorcycle enthusiasts, Bajaj Auto has slashed the price of the KTM 390 Duke by ₹18,000, bringing its new price to ₹2.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it a more attractive choice in the competitive sub-₹3 lakh motorcycle market in India.
With its 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 46hp and 39Nm of torque, the 390 Duke now stands as one of the most powerful bikes in its price bracket. Interestingly, its new price point aligns it closely with the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, which is priced at ₹2.92 lakh.
Updated Features for the 390 Duke
The latest version of the 390 Duke comes equipped with a host of premium features that add to its appeal. These include adjustable suspension, a bidirectional quickshifter, three riding modes (Track, Street, and Rain), launch control, traction control, and Bluetooth connectivity. These upgrades ensure that the bike not only performs well but also caters to varying riding conditions and rider preferences.
Price Cuts Across the Board
Bajaj Auto’s price adjustment isn’t limited to the KTM lineup. The Triumph Speed T4 also saw a ₹18,000 reduction recently, dropping its price to ₹1.99 lakh. However, unlike many price cuts that are offered as limited-time discounts, Bajaj has confirmed that the price reduction for the KTM 390 Duke is here to stay.
